We did a kitchen remodel--down to the studs and then rebuilt with custom cabinetry, new floors, updated electricity etc. It is beautiful and feels like us. Ben was wonderful to work with--attentive and helpful. We saw him nearly every day of the project--he checked the day's work every day. He returned phone calls/texts/emails promptly and had great subcontractors and designers for us to work with. It was always lovely to see him--so much so we're a little sad the project is over!

Ben Garvin & team did a complete refresh of our kitchen and living room. All of the work was exceptional quality- both the work he did, like making us a new mantle, and the work he managed, like our tiles and painting. He and all of the workers were considerate of our home and we were able to work at home while they were there with no issues. He was friendly, had good ideas for the surprises that always arise in these things, and it all came together smoothly and quickly. One of our favorite parts was the homeowner portal, which had a calendar showing what would be happening each day. We couldn’t be happier- 11/5 stars!

We did a kitchen remodel, plus adding a mudroom and bathroom remodeling (all one project) with Garvin Homes. Ben is great to work with. Very flexible and listens to what you want. Explains the implications of your choice in terms of expense and quality and compatibility with other parts of the project.
His estimates on the cost and the time to finish the project were very accurate. We did end up increasing the cost, but that was our choice with additions that we thought of later. Midway through the project, the subcontractors said they could finish their job earlier, so Ben adjusted the project finish time by about three weeks. But then we had another hiccup because of the supply chain issue, and at the end, he finished the project on time, in line with his initial estimate.
We are VERY HAPPY with our new kitchen. I would definitely recommend Ben.

Garvin Homes completed a 600 sf. addition to our house. The addition was a mother-in-law suite and includes a living/dining/kitchen area, one bedroom with a walk-in closet, and a ¾ bath, along with a back deck. After having a horrible experience with a different contractor at the start of the project and being concerned that we would not be able to complete it in a reasonable amount of time, Ben came in, corrected the first contractor’s errors, and gave us an outstanding final product. He took the time to listen to our issues and concerns and worked hard to understand what our needs were. Ben is a great communicator and kept us constantly informed about what was happening, he did everything he said he was going to do within the timeframe he said he was going to do it in, and completed the project at a fair and reasonable cost. And not only did he complete it, but he completed a beautiful addition for our 85 year old mother to enjoy this stage of her life in. Ben is a true professional and redeemed our faith in contractors!
